Fuxicando numa busca particular encontrei uma página que está fora do ar mas

Gregg, I'm in *Guangzhou* which is pretty liberal but I'm sure if you come
to China to teach English you'll have no problem with your "own personal
(and private) devotions". There may also be a church for foreigners
there that you can attend. There is a church here but Chinese nationals
are forbidden to attend and the foreigners who are in charge of the
meetings are forbidden to allow them in.

In 1999 I met an American at a McDonalds who told me he held a meeting
in that McDonalds with his converts. He said there was no problem in
winning converts as long as he was open about it. He told me that the
police or someone even had come to spy on them using a camera hidden in
a bag. But he wasn't worried about any of this. Four months later I
heard his operation was busted and he had to leave China. All of his
converts were investigated.

In 2002 I met an English teacher/missionary who was holding home church
meetings in his apartment every Sunday. After several months he was
busted. The police came during one of their Sunday meetings.
