More likely you have part timers too, people who play once in a while (like me). Yes, probably a fair amount of golfers give up after just one competition - disillusionment of their own ability in this very difficult profession. Non-participation ne non-interest. I played Santa, irc (IIRC without success... too slow) and even/gs - I've skipped the TPR games thus far. Then again, I joined the Games::Golf team just after the TPR games started and am still coding with them. An annoucement on Games::Golf's progress will be coming in the next week or two.
