The glob trick only became valid for golf with Perl 5.6.0, when it was implemented internally. I may have popularised its golf use a little by mentioning it in Get Even post mortem: http:[EMAIL PROTECTED]/msg01367.html It has also been used in golfs on Perl Monks. /-\
