Hello! (great idea this "have you looked at these messages!!!) I have a feeling this must have been asked before, but I have searched for this on different occasions, and did not find it. So:
I'm using PHP to look for large amounts of text (i.e., several paragraphs). I've found that the Google API returns an error if my query string is bigger than +/- 2000 characters. Which is not perfect, but also not the end of the free world. The real problem is that I can't seem to find documentation about search queries. Namely how many characters can it have? 1999? 1997? 1998?... And other information would also provide useful: how can I search for two paragraphs? How will I search for a line break? Shouldn't there be easy access information about the search query? I read the Google Site Help, but I'm not sure it is complete/aplicable to the API (can I use pipes and parathesis as was possible in the SOAP - at least I seems it was...). Anyone knows where I can find this kind of information? Thanks in advance! (I haven't looked for this other topic, but is kind of far fetched: is there a way to parse a page the way Google does it, so I can get a exact match on a Google Search?... lol, just asking...) --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google AJAX API" group.
