Hi, I have tried this... however it doesn't load. I can see in script file gsmapsearch.js the line;
this.searchform.input.value = GSearch.strings["search-the-map"] I tried editing the gsmapsearch.js the give the text I want, ie., this.searchform.input.value = GSearch.strings["search here for a football ground"] ....and then pointing the main script at this instead of the URL, but the text just changed to "undefined". I guess "search-the-map" is referenced elsewhere.. Interestingly "search" worked.... I assume this is another predefined string.
