I know we talked about this the other day in the IRC channel, but I  
thought it prudent to post the solution here, too.

Basically, you can override the default styles by finding the right  
selectors with Firefox/Firebug.  In this case, you need to add the  
following style rule:

.gs-result .gs-title,.gs-result .gs-title *{color:#ffffff;}

Replace the color code with what you will.
