In order to have news links that are up to date and no later than 48
hours, you need to have a news feed that fills those requirements.
Additionally, you could add some extra code to check the published
date and not let anything published before that time frame be shown.
Do you have a link to your existing work?

Also, unfortunately, I can't write the code to style it like their
site for you.  You can do it, though, by using Firebug's helpful
"inspect" tool to look at their HTML and CSS.
