I have made a Google News search with a Russian word in a query. The result page gives me an RSS URL of that search.
But when I trying to test this URL with http://code.google.com/apis/ajaxfeeds/documentation/blogpreview.html it shows no result except for mangled term from my original News search. Looks like Feed API mangles the query so the News finds nothing. Change the value of q= param to, say, 2009, as in "&q=2009" and blogpreview fetches and shows news results just right.
