Hi, As far as I know there is no limit placed on it, you can fire off the event when clicking the tab if your not doing that already (instead of on page load), but I have made apps firing off multiple requests to get all 64 results at once from a search which is 8x what would normally fire at once and no restriction on it yet.. But honestly I don't work with the maps API much, but I have not heard of a limit imposed on it either, maybe a Googler can chime in on that if there is a limit on it, but you may just be hitting some latency or something.
