Allow me to address your questions as you asked them:
Q: I want the video to play in certain place on the page, not in a
floating video box. A: Create a div with an unique id where you want
the player to appear, and then pass
document.getElementById('[id_of_player_div]') as the second argument
to the new GSvideoBar constructor.
Q: I want to display more than one row of video choices. A: While you
can certainly do this, you're going to have to download, alter, and
host your own version of the standard gsvideobar.js
Q: I want a "more" button that will scroll the bar to show more
videos. A: As with the previous question, you'll have to alter the
code to insert the button.
As for your other questions, they are definitely YouTube-specific.
