I have been recently rewriting two particularly complex pages on my website, which each contain about 17 script tags, to use asynchronous loading so that the user form is displayed and can be used more quickly. This has been difficult to achieve, but in the end successful, except that there are lingering problems with the Google AJAX Loader in IE.
I have previously contributed to a bug report concerning the loader, but it was arbitrarily closed, in my strongly held opinion, wrongly: http://code.google.com/p/google-ajax-apis/issues/detail?id=271&can=1&q=ajax%20loader&colspec=ID%20Type%20Stars%20Status%20Modified%20Summary%20APIType%20Opened As I am still having problems with the loader, in situations when reloading the page using the browser back and forward buttons in all versions of IE, I wish to dispense with its unreliable services altogether. What are the equivalent commands to load the Google Search and Maps APIs in such a way as to get the google.* namespaces, using, say, jQuery? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google AJAX APIs" group.
