Hello! I am using a dynamic feed control on my website and am having some issues. I am hosting my own css file (just a small tweaking of the original). I have put the feed on the right side in a narrow-ish column and my text is getting cut off.
I honestly thought it was perfect until someone looked at it in Firefox. Apparently, Firefox does not support the text-overflow property and my text gets cut off. Is there a way to get around this? I have done some pretty extensive research on this and can't find a solution. SO, I decided to get rid of the text-overflow and display the whole item title. I fiddled around with the white-space properties and finally found the right one. BUT now, my problem is that if my title is too big (more than 2 lines), the snippet text gets cut off by my list items. I have tried tweaking so many properties, but I just can't get it to work (without making it so long that it looks ridiculous when I have a short title). Is there a way to only display the first two lines? So now I have two problems, both halting normal work flow: 1. text-overflow:ellipsis issues in Firefox cutting off my text 2. some titles are too long and cut off my entry text. the feed does not expand automatically to adjust to the new size. Do you have any suggestions? I will take a solution to either of my problems... I just need this to start looking normal in all browsers.
