How you edit the code really depends on what code you're using. In general, you 
can add something like this:

searcher.setSiteRestriction('example.com');

where searcher is the WebSearch object you're using, and it will search the 
given site.

As for the timeframe search, the AJAX API does not support that at this time 
that I know of.
