In the documentation, there is a list of endpoint URLs to use for the different 
portions of the Search API service. To retrieve local results, make sure you're 
using the local URL, as below:

http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/services/search/local?v=1.0&q=YOUR_URI-ESCAPED_QUERY_HERE
