I've recently built a service that lets users choose a topic to search for on Twitter in a language of their choosing, and it will translate the results for them using the Google Translate API.
However, it blows through the courtesy limit within a few hours each day. I filled out the form a couple of weeks ago, but haven't heard anything back. People are using this tool to keep track of the goings- on in Japan and the Middle East, so it gets a decent amount of use. Is there another way to request a rate limit increase? Is there a way I can pay for one? I tried using a paid translation service, but the quality was not as good as Google Translate's. The site is http://twitmersion.com/ . It will probably hit the limit pretty soon, but if it hasn't hit it, you'd be able to see what Japanese people are saying about radiation here: http://twitmersion.com/ja/radiation And what Spanish speakers are saying about Egypt here: http://twitmersion.com/es/egypt I'm looking for any and all suggestions - I'd love to share this with a wider audience, but the last time I tried I blew through a full day's worth of quota in 10 minutes -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google AJAX APIs" group.
