Thanks for raising this issue. Just to clarify, as a standalone script, this loads fine, right? It's only when combining that it presents a problem?
My recommendation would be to change your combiner to inject a semicolon (or newline) between merged JS files, if the first file being merged doesn't end with either of a semicolon or a newline. Seems like that would be a good addition to any JS combiner that will address this issue for you and for any other JS resource that has been minified such that it excludes a newline and a semicolon at the end. Hope that helps. -Bryan On Thu, Jul 5, 2012 at 6:04 PM, rwoody <[email protected]> wrote: > Anyone know how this happens? > > https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jqueryui/1.8.18/jquery-ui.min.js > > Is missing a semicolon at the end, and breaking other stuff when > concatenated with other scripts. > > https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jqueryui/1.8.18/jquery-ui.js > > Is not missing the semicolon. > > > -- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google > Groups "Google AJAX APIs" group. > To post to this group, send email to > [email protected] > To unsubscribe from this group, send email to > [email protected] > To view this message on the web, visit > https://groups.google.com/d/msg/google-ajax-search-api/-/mlP_9OWR6ioJ > For more options, visit this group at > http://groups.google.com/group/google-ajax-search-api?hl=en?hl=en -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google AJAX APIs" group.
