I just don't understand it. I also like Google to place the artifacts. At least someone from Google should answer this (as the previous thread was ignored) discussion if we can relay on artifacts in http://google-maven-repository.googlecode.com/svn/repository/com/google/appengine/.
I've create a new issue (http://code.google.com/p/googleappengine/ issues/detail?id=2098) to always update the artifacts after a new release. Let's hope Google will include it in their release process.
