Yes, my workaround is just a proxy which route every pmf requests
back to the original instance return by
JDOHelper.getPersistenceManagerFactory.
I used jdo transaction manager and aop and it worked on gae host
after applying the workaround. My spring version is 2.0.8 but I think
it could also work on spring 2.5.
