Some time ago I had a similar requirement to run cron only on weekdays and only 9- 5 EST, did some research on it that time, but could not find any way to do it via configuration. I ended up doing the logic in the receiving cron servlet (outside of the time windows, the servlet just ignores the request).
also the time will be returned in GMT so adjust code appropriately.
