Hi, I have a requirement to run a quatrz scheduler service and fire off jobs based on the contents in the appengine datastore objects. We cannot run any quarts service that's up all the time in appengine. The "crontasks" in appengien with it's limitations are the only option?
Any plans to improve on this in the future? When will appengine become an official product? Will we be ever able to run third party software/packages (ex: data mining/analytics) on appengine in the future ?We are small early startup deciding on various cloud options.
