fyhao, Thanks for the reply. But I'm still having trouble.
I went to http://localhost:8888/_ah/admin (I am using port 8888), and got a screen labelled 'no_app_id Development Console'. I gives me the choices Datastore Viewer, Task Queues, XMPP, Inbound Mail, and Backends. None of these show me any logs.
