I am using Netbeans with GAE without any issues at the moment, so it should work. Can you check some things please?
Can you run the dev server using the command line (dev_appserver.cmd)? If you can, can you run your code with it? Have you loaded the server in Netbeans correctly - with the correct paths, etc. listed under "Servers" under the "Tools" menu? Does the file nbproject\ant-deploy.xml contain the correct path for the SDK? Thanks, Mat.
