Hi all, I am trying to understand the resident instances. We are working on some apps which are in demo/trial stages and dont get a lot of requests. The problem is the load requests are killing us. We have spun up some resident idle instances, still the requests launch a new dynamic instance. How can we prevent this? I have warmup on and loadonstartup tag set for our default servlet.
Google's docs and faqs keep mentioning 'always on' instance which apparently is an old feature. I hope someone goes up and cleans up the doc at some point.
