Hi Java users, With the latest version of the Java SDK (jdk 1.6 u31), App Engine development server fails to start up, the issue has already been filed on the public issue tracker and workarounds have been suggested in the comments: http://code.google.com/p/googleappengine/issues/detail?id=6928
The engineering team is aware of the issue and actively working on a fix for 1.6.3.1.
