Shawn, You might try searching on the tags specifically. E.g. try: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/tagged/google-app-engine+java This should bring up a list sorted by (by default) newest first, though you can change the sort via the tabs at the top of the page.
When you're searching, you can specify a tag by putting it in square brackets. E.g. if you search for: [google-app-engine] [java] spring this will retrieve questions tagged with [google-app-engine] and [java], and containing 'spring'.
