It is very frustrating that the dev_appserver will validate and run code that does not run on the live server. Even more frustrating is that the live server doesn't provide a way to view python traceback to determine what the actual problem is.
Does anyone know of a technique that I can use to debug my live server, other than trial and error updates? I'm getting a mysterious 500 server error with my code, but the code runs perfectly under dev_appserver!
