Jan and I have discussed this already, but for the record and anyone else who struggled with this (like me).
It seems you cannot have two duplicate prefixes, even if the complete URLs are different. Look on the Dashboard of your Google Domain for an App in your that uses www as a prefix (like Google Web Pages) and rename it to something else.
