The # AUTOGENERATED line was there in the index.yaml, I will check the file ending.. I actually tried deleting the index.yaml and the restarted the dev server to get the index.yaml generated. But then I found errors when uploading my app to the app engine, I got a 500 error from the server while trying to upload the index.. Thanks, Arun Shanker Prasad.
