Be A Mentor, Inc. is a non-profit that has created a Volunteer Management System (VMS) that includes recruitment of volunteers, background clearance process, training scheduling, and project management for youth services organizations nation-wide.
The system is written in using VBscript, .ASP, MSSQL db. The purpose of the system is to allow communities of non profits to have a centralized system that eliminates the duplicating of efforts, allowing increased efficiency in individual non profits serving youth, and provide access to a central database of vetted, ready to serve, adults to work with children and youth.
