I want to test google apps for my users and thought it would make
sense to setup a dual configuration. I found the support page
explaining this, but I have a question about using a domain alias.

Currently our exchange is configured using a site like ABC.com and I
have setup a google apps account using ABC.com The support page
points out I can use alias.ABC.com and forward our emails to google
apps. Is this process transparent to everyone who receives emails?
In other words if someone sends an email using google apps will it be
sent as [email protected] or do external parties see the alias?

Also is it better to use an subdomain like alias.ABC.com or a
completely different address like ABC.net (I don't want the user to
know either way) or is it irrelevant.

Thanks,
Rick
