I've deleted several index off of my local index.yaml after re-working my model definitions (most but not all of these deletions occurred by merely deleting index.yaml, clearing my local datastore, and then running through my app after making the model changes). Many of these indexes refer to properties that no longer exist in either my local datastore or my datastore at the Google server end; however, all such deleted indexes are still there in the Indexes viewer on the server Dashboard.
These deletions occurred several days ago, and I've done several deployments since then. Some of those deployments involved addition of new indexes, and those changes reflect just fine at the server end, but the obsolete indexes still exist even though they're not in my local index.yaml. I assume this is hurting performance of my write operations. I'm pretty sure these deletions used to happen automatically for me; is there something else I should be doing? I can provide my app ID in a private e-mail if requested. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google App Engine" group.
