Alex Hi,

if I want to use something like:

{{money|local}}

where do I put your input about import locale

because I saw this snippet

from django import template
import locale
locale.setlocale(locale.LC_ALL, '')
register = template.Library()

@register.filter()
def currency(value):
    return locale.currency(value, grouping=True)

and it doesn't work.

I'm new to GAE stuff and it seems to me a lot of trouble to format for
currency.

we should have a filter like {{sum|currency}} where we can change the
currency symbol like it is done in other languages.

or in short how I use you tip.

Happy New Year

Shay
