Hi, This is a known issue with the 'Check availability' functionality. Gmail and App Engine share the same namespace, but in Gmail when you reserve eg d1turen, dituren is also reserved. The Check availability function does not correctly check for this case.
So if you get the message 'This application ID or version is already in use' you will not be able to reserve the id. -Marzia On Mon, Mar 9, 2009 at 6:11 AM, K_Reverter <[email protected]> wrote: > > When I create create an application as "dituren.appspot.com" > > I got a 400 error "This application ID or version is already in use." > > But when I click the "Check availability" , > I got a message "Yes, "dituren" is available!" > > Why?
