I've found the problem, or at least narrowed it down. I verified my account a second time, using a friend's cellphone, set up a new app 'xm-registry', and now everything seems to work. Seems like the previous Verify Account got stuck, and was not allowing me to access the app 'registry-xm' or start over. Seems like creating an new app should be an all-or-nothing "transaction". I'll start another thread on this when I get some time.
