Hello and greetings, I am a newbie to google apps, and I have a policy question. I have read and read and searched and searched, and I have not seen a clear answer to this question.
I was heartened to read that the google api has gone commercial, and I hope that this means I can do some commercial development with it. There is one prohibitive line under "prohibited actions" in the policies page, "Sell, trade, resell or otherwise exploit the Service for any unauthorized commercial purpose", but I am not 100% clear what this means. Here is what I want to do: 1) Develop a customized search of the main google database, looking for very specific "inclusion" and "exclusion" keyword matching results. 2) Include the results of this search with an existing search tool that is part of a commercial product -- that is, use of my search tool is currently sold to 3rd party clients. The tool currently does not include google as a source for search results. 3) Allow for more than 1000 queries per day -- and happy to pay for it, although I do not see that option listed in the quotas section. 4) More than 1,000 results per query would be nice, but I can live within that limitation. Can I do this? Thanks Mike --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google App Engine" group.
