After experimenting with tasks for a few days here is some feedback. I find the API simple, very easy to use and very much needed. However, I hope that you realize that the dashboard UI you give us to administer queues and tasks is very primitive. Here is what I would like Goolge to do:
1. add ability to pause the queues in the dashboard 2. add ability to delete tasks in the dashboard 3. add ability to "deep inspect" tasks: URL, params, data, etc in the dashboard 4. Bring the dev server and the GAE dashboard functionality in sync 5.
