We are still waiting (at least I never I saw it) for a response to the
outage a couple of weeks ago. They did admit to having it on the
status page, and they said that they would post an update to the
groups once they figured out what went wrong. [This was the issue that
only affected some users and was apparently due to some other piece of
google infrastructure.]
