I tried to register an app today, and got an error message that "An App or Google Account already exists with that name."
But, there is no email address "[email protected]", there is no app active at the requested appname, it's my company's name, and FWIW, we've had the domain.com for years. We do use Google Apps for our internal email. Does that constitute an illegal conflict? If we have everything on appname.com, can we not register an app named appname? Normally, this wouldn't matter, but since you actually need to use appname.appspot.com when doing anything over https, I guess the name does sometimes matter.
