Microsoft is extending the "Microsoft Community Promise" (a promise not to make patent claims in certain conditions) for ECMA 334 (C#) and ECMA 335 (CLI). But for how long. Will it extend next time. The languages now running on GAE have no patent claims anywhere. I think this will it make it very unlikely that C# will be supported on GAE.
