It looks like you have enabled billing on the production application, which has increased the number of indices you can have. You'll want to make sure you are only using the minimal number of indices you need.
You can also enable billing on your demo application and just set a low limit to increase the indices quota. It's pretty unlikely you will trip over the quota, and to safeguard against this you can add a low daily spending limit.
