Hi, Has anyway come across an issue where a domain you've set up in Google Apps, to point to your Google App Engine app suddenly stop working, and any visits produce a (Google) 404 error?
We've set up 2 aliases, which are both sub-domains of the domain configured for Google Apps use, and pointed both to the same Google App Engine app. It's been working fine for a couple of weeks. Today (first noticed on the low-use app about 2 hours ago), any visits to 1 of the subdomains produced a 404 (the other remained working). DNS hasn't changed (and must still be working if it's a Google 404 we see, not a general browser error). The app hasn't been updated in the meantime. Quotas have not been exceeded. To fix, I deleted both subdaomins from Google Apps, and added them again (no DNS changes required; that was all OK). I don't know if that had anything to do with it, or if it was just coincidence. When I added the second alias/subdomain back in to Google Apps, it was 404ing for a while. This was the one that *was* working. When I added the one that wasn't working, it worked on re-add straight away. Happy to provide the domains in private if it helps. Has anyone experience anything similar? Temporary blip in Google App Engine (status dashboard doesn't mention any issues), or is it likely to keep happening? Thanks in advance for any tips! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google App Engine" group. To post to this group, send email to [email protected].
