I get this error frequently, too. I am using cron to start multiple tasks with the TaskQueue. My tasks are getting killed after only 10 seconds, rather than the 30 seconds they should have.
The worst part is that my app isn't using any CPU, it's just waiting on URLFetch to complete. Yet Google kills it anyway.
