Statistically, probably not.
The reason is that you would tie yourself  to a Google owned framework,
which would make selling you technology less attractive to potential buyers
(other then Google).
There is always an option to port your application, but it might be less
strait forward
at least on the database side, since AppEngine DataStore is quite different
from
the usual SQL base database managers.

I would look into using services like Amazon EC2 or RackSpace to implement
the app on a technology that is open. (I'm currently looking in to Django,
Repoz.bfg
or TurboGears as a solution.


That's my 25 cents anyway.
