"Once the user has signed in or created a Google account, the user is redirected back to your application. The app provides the redirect URL to the method that generates the sign-in URL." I have tested this in my app, and the user is not redirected back to the app after creating a google account. After creation of the google account (after pressing the button marked, "I accept. Create my account."), the user is directed to a "a verification link has been sent to your email, please check your email" page. After opening the users email, and clicking the verification link, the user is also not redirected to the app. I believe that this behavior is not good to apps, since users have to manually go back to the app after creating a google account. For apps that target novice internet users that don't have existing google accounts, the "create account" process has to be very streamlined. By the way, an additional create_account_url() function to the Users service could also be handy. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google App Engine" group.
