May be java dudes have more issues ;-)

No seriously java may be more popular for app engine than python, but
don't assume that is the case
just because the frequency of the postings. I would look elsewhere for
numbers on popularity.

Remember the java forum will include all sorts of postings about
things like people running jython, jruby, scala, on java as well as
things like using jdo, vs other data access mechanisms as well
as trying port/or get working other java frameworks on app engine.

Python apps on the other hand pretty much have all the same base
access mechanism to the datastore, and in the main have a simpler api
and in most cases will all be
wsgi based frameworks that are being ported/made to run.
