Okay, was able to solve the problem by vacuuming/updating from the
WINDOWS tool... I had origionally created the indexes with the MAC
tool. So it appears the problem can be solved by suing a tool in a
different OS then the first tool... or maybe on a different
computer...

Not really sure why that would matter. But it did the trick. So
whatever works. :-)
