I'd like to map my app to http://mydomain.com (without www, e.g. mydomain.com) I purchased a domain via Google Apps, and it was managed on Godaddy.
I tried the help by Godaddy http://community.godaddy.com/help/2005/10/03/forwarding-or-masking-your-domain/ on that page there is a very important note: For your domain to forward, your domain's A record must be 64.202.189.170. when I just done, it worked fine with http://mydomain.com Now when i ping mydomain.com , i got a response from 64.202.189.170 i am thinking it is correct but after about one hour , i tried http://mydomain.com again, it was always redirected to http://www.mydomain.com(with www) then i ping mydomain.com again, i got a response from 216.239.xxx.xxx but in my domain manager, there is only one A Record that point to 64.202.189.170 i tried all steps again and again, i got the same results, it keeps 64.202.189.170 less an hour, then changed to 216.239.xxx.xxx when i ping it got 64.202.189.170, it worked fine (mydomain.com) , the other was not. i need helps , thanks. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google App Engine" group.
