This was a legitimate posting.

First, if you read the posting it does not request that the developer
be a world-class designer. We can take are of that end of things just
fine.

Second, for anyone *actually* interested in this job we do prefer you
have knowledge of several platforms. People with 4-5 years of
experience may actually know about ecommerce, google maps, and
familiarity with google app engine. Clearly, as some of these things
are new, there are NO gurus, but we said familiarity (and the
intangible flexibility that talented people have) not 10 working years
of experience. However, I think the warped reading of our message
was based on cynicism, as the text does not state ridiculous demands a
recruiter might state (ie 3-4 years of experience in every programming
language known to man).

Third, constant availability was not suggested but consistency was.

I sincerely do request people to contact us.

Note to Jawaad: You are building a history online, I suggest you
think carefully about lambasting postings in a public forum because of
your poor reading of them. It looks bad on you.

Note to Ikai: Thanks for letting us post. You can generally trust
your intuition about these things; I hope you continue to allow job
posts as it builds the groups readership typically.
