You can't install CloudCourse on a rented Linux server with shell
access.

The installation instructions do mention some shell commands you
should run to prepare the code and upload it to Google App Engine.
Maybe this is where the confusion arises?

For Windows users, it suggests:

If you are running on Windows just adapt the script
    accordingly (it's running basic commands).

Which just means you should manually run the two commands in this
file:

Give it a go. Write down anything Windows specific as you follow
along. If you run into problems, try asking a question here if it
seems App Engine related, or here: http://groups.google.com/group/cloudcourse
if it seems CloudCourse related. I'm sure your Windows installation
instructions could be added to the wiki.

Good luck!
