Hi At the outset let me say app engine is great and overall I am EXTREMELY happy with the platform and the service.
So this is sort of a minor nit pick, but it does really annoy me ;-) On the system status pages when there is an anomaly or other problem. The usual message is "Investigation Complete - Issue Resolved We have determined that this spike did not affect the performance or uptime of applications. If you feel we have incorrectly diagnosed this issue please inform us by posting in our developer forum." I honestly believe, and many will concur, that this message is almost always wrong. Specifically I take issue with the statement "We have determined that this spike did not affect the performance or uptime of applications" well actually it has affected some apps, which typically start getting DeadlineExceeded constantly for a few minutes. Could I suggest google consider changing the wording to "We have determined that this spike did not affect the performance or uptime of [MOST|SOME] applications" At least that indicates its not a system wide outage, but something taht affected pockets of the appengine infrastructure, Rgds T -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google App Engine" group.
